Video Stroke Analysis
Expert review of your stroke with both written and verbal feedback

LaneMate subscribers have the ability to purchase a video stroke analysis by a certified coach. This analysis is done completely online so you don't have to travel from your home pool. Here is what you can expect to receive:

• A single stroke analysis by a USMS-certified coach (the available strokes are freestyle, butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and starts/turns)
• Two rounds of feedback (an initial round and then a follow-up round once you have implemented the recommended improvements)
• ~5 minutes of analysis for each round calling out three areas of improvement. The analysis includes:
  • A video with verbal feedback and graphics to pinpoint exactly what the coach is talking about
  • A written document describing the three areas of improvement, three drills to help focus on those areas, and links to additional resources 

The LaneMate Monthly subscribers can purchase this for $140. While the LaneMate Yearly subscribers get a $20 discount and can purchase it for $120.

What is the process?

Everyone can benefit from a video stroke analysis so our goal was to make this process as impactful for the swimmer as possible. The steps are below:

1. Purchase the video stroke analysis
2. Connect with your coach on OnForm, you will receive an email invitation to connect with the coach
3. Fill out the intake form, which provides the coach with details on what your goals are and how you can record your stroke
4. Record your stroke in the angles and manner prescribed by the coach
5. Send your video to the coach using OnForm
6. Receive feedback from the coach on OnForm
7. Implement the feedback over the next few weeks
8. Repeat steps 4-7 for the second round

You will receive the entire analysis online through OnForm, the industry-leader in video analysis for sports. Not only does the platform contain the video and written tools mentioned above but that is also where you can communicate with your coach. OnForm is available in the browser as well as in an app.
